Early Intervention Specialist

Early Intervention Specialist: Love 2 Learn is now hiring aspiring and experienced Early Intervention Specialists

Early Intervention Specialists provide direct services to infants and toddlers up the age of 5 who are either at risk of a developmental delay or have a diagnosis in the home, school, L2L clinic and/or community. 

Early Intervention Specialists (EIS) teach language, communication, social skills, adaptive behavior, leisure skills, and so much more.   An EIS works closely with Clinical Supervisors, Behavior Analysts, Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists to collaborate on the development of the learners and families they serve.  

Compassion, playfulness and creativity are qualities that go into being a strong Early Intervention Specialist. Communicating with families, data collection and session summaries are all part of the role.

A clear growth pathway is outlined in which we provide the training and support to become experts in our industry.  We have entry level clinical positions and more advanced positions open.

Background Qualifications

• High school degree and/or other related developmental disabilities are preferred. 
• Experience with the 0-3 year old population.

Position Type/Work Hours:

• Part time to Full time
• 20 hours minimum availability required
• Build up to 30+ hours
• Monday through Friday
• Typically 8:00am to 6:00pm
• Weekends optional

Travel:

• This position consists of being in the field. 
• Frequent travel in the assigned region 
• Client to client, client to office and office to client.
