Love 2 Learn clinic lobby in Huntington Beach

Not your average ABA company.

Love 2 Learn was built by clinicians, for clinicians. We are independently owned, and that means the people who lead this organization are the same people who care deeply about the work you will do every day.

We approach our work through a somatic, trauma-informed lens and weave Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into everything we do. From how we support children to how we support our staff, this is a culture of genuine connection, not corporate metrics.

"When our team is cared for, families feel it and outcomes improve."

What does a Behavior Interventionist actually do?

As a BI, you are at the heart of our clinical work. Here is what a typical week looks like so you know exactly what to expect.

🧒

The Work

1:1 sessions with children, using play-based and structured learning to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

🏡

The Settings

A dynamic mix of in-home, in-clinic (Huntington Beach), and preschool environments. No two days are exactly the same.

👥

The Caseload

Sustainable and focused. You will see 1 to 3 clients per day and no more than 5 different clients per week, so you truly get to know each child.

🕘

The Hours

Consistent and predictable. Common working hours are 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

At Love 2 Learn, learning is built into the rhythm of your work. Every team member receives structured, ongoing support from day one through every stage of their career. You will never be left to figure it out alone.

Weekly or Biweekly

1:1 Clinical Supervision

Your supervisor meets with you individually, on-site or virtually, to review your cases, refine your teaching procedures, and give you direct clinical guidance. How often depends on the intensity and location of your case. And beyond scheduled check-ins, your supervisor is always within reach when you need them.

Quarterly

Group Peer Training

Four times a year, you step off-case and into focused group training sessions with your peers. A space to learn, reflect, and grow alongside the people doing the same work you are.

Monthly

Ongoing Clinical Training

As you advance into mid-tier roles, monthly training sessions deepen your clinical knowledge and prepare you for greater responsibility. Growth is continuous here, not a one-time event.

Open to All

CEUs & Internal Learning

Every team member has access to continuing education opportunities and internal learning events. Whether you are a BI or a BCBA, there is always something new to discover and apply.

"The best clinicians never stop being students. We built this organization so that curiosity is always rewarded and growth is always within reach."

Love 2 Learn Leadership

A career ladder you can actually see.

We do not just offer jobs. We build careers. Here is the path from your first day to clinical leadership.

1
You Start Here

Behavior Interventionist (BI)

Your entry point into the field. You will work 1:1 with children, build your clinical foundation, and grow your confidence with full support from our team. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Starting pay $20 to $25/hr.

2
Step Two

Behavior Health Technician (BHT)

After 6 months of experience working with individuals with disabilities, you step into a more advanced direct care role with expanded clinical responsibilities.

3
Step Three

Behavior Management Assistant (BMA)

With 2 years of experience, you begin taking on 1:1 sessions, parent consultation, and clinical supervision responsibilities. This is where your leadership voice begins to develop.

4
Mid Tier

Associate Supervisor

You are enrolled in a master's program and stepping into a supervisory role. You will guide BI teams, contribute to program development, and begin accumulating the direct and indirect supervision hours required for your BCBA certification. We support you in tracking and completing every hour.

5
Mid Tier

Clinical Supervisor

Master's degree in hand, you are leading clinical operations and supervising staff while continuing to log your direct and indirect hours toward BCBA certification. You are close, and we make sure you get there.

6
Certification

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

You have passed your BCBA certification exam and now practice independently. You design programs, provide supervision, collaborate with related services, and lead with the full depth of your expertise.

7
Leadership

Clinical Director

The top of the ladder. You provide organizational leadership, clinical oversight, and staff development across the entire organization. This is the full expression of everything you have built.

We are proud of the culture we have built, and even prouder of what our team says about it.

"This is the best ABA company I've ever worked for. Everyone was friendly and genuinely cared about the well-being of the clients."

— Behavior Interventionist

"Amazing team… strong professionals who represent our field with compassion and dignity!"

— Indeed Review

Questions we hear from new grads.

💡 Do I need ABA experience to apply?

Not at all. We welcome candidates who are new to the field. Whether you are looking for your first Behavior Technician role, an entry-level ABA Therapist position, or you are already an RBT, our 62-hour onboarding program — a mix of live training, Relias online modules, and supervised shadow sessions — will fully prepare you. Prior experience is appreciated but never required.

💡 What degree or major do I need?

A Bachelor's degree is preferred, particularly in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or Applied Behavior Analysis. However, we hire passionate people from a variety of backgrounds. If you care deeply about children and are eager to learn, we want to meet you.

💡 What's the interview process like?

Our process is warm and conversational. We review every application personally and respond quickly. You will typically have an initial phone screen followed by a brief in-person or video interview. We want to get to know you, not just your resume.

💡 What are the typical hours for this job?

Common working hours are 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. We offer both part-time and full-time positions and work with you to find a schedule that fits your life.

💡 How does Love 2 Learn support professional development?

We provide structured mentorship, ongoing clinical guidance, BCBA supervision hours, CEUs, and access to live trainings, workshops, and conferences. Growth is built into your role from day one. You will not have to chase it on your own.

💡 Do you offer training or supervision for BCBA/BCaBA certification?

Yes. We provide supervision hours and a clear pathway from BI to BCBA. Many of our current supervisors and BCBAs started as BIs at Love 2 Learn.

💡 What makes Love 2 Learn different from other ABA providers?

We are independently owned, not private equity-backed, which means decisions are made with people in mind and not profit margins. We are a boutique organization with a somatic, trauma-informed, and ACT-informed approach to everything we do. You will be known here. You will be supported here. You will grow here.

You will never be thrown in the deep end.

Here is exactly what your first three weeks look like at Love 2 Learn.

Week 1

Your Launchpad

You will dive into the foundations of ABA, meet your team, and begin learning how to make a real impact with children and families from day one.

Week 2

Your Skills Grow

You will learn how to reduce challenging behavior, teach meaningful skills, and use data effectively while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Week 3

It All Comes Together

You will step into real-world practice through shadowing and live training, building the confidence to show up as a capable and connected clinician.

Is this role right for you?

You do not need a perfect resume or years of experience. You do need the right heart for this work. If most of these sound like you, we want to hear from you.

  • You genuinely enjoy spending time with children and find it meaningful, not just tolerable.
  • You are patient. Not perfectly patient, but patient enough to try again when something does not work the first time.
  • You are curious. You want to understand why a child behaves the way they do, not just manage it.
  • You are studying or have studied Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, ABA, or a related field, though it is not required.
  • You want a job that challenges you to grow, not one that just fills your schedule.
  • You are reliable and take your commitments seriously. The children and families we serve count on consistency.
  • You are open to feedback and see it as a tool for getting better, not a personal criticism.
  • You want to build a career in the behavioral health or clinical field, and you are ready to start now.

Your first step toward a career that matters.

We review every application personally and respond quickly. No experience necessary. Just bring your passion, your empathy, and your desire to grow.
