A reflection on what quietly grows when people feel supported, seen, and connected

There are moments in an organization’s life that ask you to pause… not to measure success, but to notice what has been growing, often quietly, over time.

This feels like one of those moments.

Love 2 Learn Consulting has been named one of Orange County’s Top Workplaces for 2025, a multidisciplinary clinic providing ABA therapy, speech, occupational therapy, and early intervention in Huntington Beach and across Orange County. What makes this recognition meaningful is not the title itself, but where it comes from… the lived experiences of our team, reflected back to us.

We didn’t set out to build an award-winning workplace.
We set out to build a place people didn’t want to leave.

At our Huntington Beach clinic, we support children and families across Orange County through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), early intervention, speech, and occupational therapy. The culture behind this recognition is the same one that shapes how care is delivered every day.

Our first Top Workplaces recognition came in 2016, followed by 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, and now again in 2025.

But the foundation for this began long before that.

For the first eight years of Love 2 Learn, we didn’t apply for any awards. We were learning. Building. Adjusting. Trying to understand what kind of organization we were becoming and what it meant to truly support both families and the professionals doing this work.

There were seasons where things felt aligned… and seasons where we were still finding our footing. Times where our intentions were clear, but our systems hadn’t quite caught up yet.

When we applied in 2016, it wasn’t because everything was perfect.
It was because something important had taken root… and our team could feel it.

This award doesn’t capture everything, but it points to something we care deeply about.
A culture that, on most days, feels:

• Steady when things are uncertain
• Supportive without needing to be loud about it
• Relational in how decisions are made and how people are treated
• Real… in both the strengths and the growing edges

It’s not something that lives in a statement.
It’s something families feel when they walk into our clinic, and something our team carries into their work in ABA therapy and early intervention across Orange County.

It shows up in small, repeated moments.

In how someone is supported through a hard week.
In how feedback is given and received.
In how people are invited to grow, not just perform.

For 17 years, people have chosen to build their careers here.

Some have been with us for a decade or more.
Some stepped away and later returned.
Some are just beginning and already shaping what comes next.

They’ve stayed through seasons of growth, challenge, change, and renewal.

Not because it’s always easy…
but because something here has felt worth investing in.

That kind of continuity creates something you can feel, even if you can’t always name it right away.

Over time, our work has been enriched by approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and more recently, somatic practices.

What we’ve come to notice is that these didn’t change who we are.
They helped us understand it more clearly.

They gave language to things our team was already practicing:
Slowing down when it matters
Listening more closely
Making space for both growth and regulation
Holding high standards without losing humanity

Like discovering the blueprint for a home you’ve already been living in.

The impact of culture doesn’t stay inside an organization.

It shapes how care is delivered.

When professionals feel supported, they stay.
When they stay, relationships deepen.
When relationships deepen, trust builds.

And from that place, meaningful learning can happen.

Not rushed. Not forced.
But steady, connected, and lasting.

At Love 2 Learn, we provide ABA therapy, early intervention, speech therapy, and occupational therapy for children and families throughout Huntington Beach and surrounding Orange County communities. Our multidisciplinary approach allows us to support the whole child while partnering closely with families every step of the way.

As we move into 2026, our intention is not to hold onto recognition, but to continue tending to what created it.

Not perfectly.
