Behavior Therapist Position

Love 2 Learn is now hiring aspiring and experienced Behavioral Therapists who provide essential services to infants, toddlers, children, teens and/or adults either at risk of a developmental delay or have a diagnosis in the home, school, L2L clinic and/or community. 

Behavior Therapists (BTs)  teach language, communication, social skills, adaptive behavior, leisure skills, and so much more. Each learner has a program that is designed for them, their family and their environment. BTs work closely with Clinical Supervisors, Behavior Analysts, Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists to collaborate on the behavior of the learners and families they serve.

Compassion, playfulness and creativity are qualities that go into being a strong Behavior Therapist. Communicating with families, data collection, session summaries, are all part of the role.

Qualifications

● Demonstrate good judgment and decision making

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Previous experience working in a team environment and comfortable working independently

● Full Immunization Record, which includes a recent TB Test

● CPR (Basic Life Support Specific)

● Valid California Driver’s License and Auto Insurance Background Qualifications

● High school degree required. Bachelors preferred.

Position Type/Work Hours:

● Part time to Full time

● 20 hours minimum availability required

● Build up to 30+ hours

● Monday through Friday

● Typically 8:00am to 6:00pm

● Weekends optional
